Prices depend on the size and shape of the cake along with which icing finish you would like. A guide on portion sizes is at the bottom of the page along with starting prices for commonly sized Single, Tiered, and Stacked cakes. We also specialise in Topsy-Turvy / Wonky / Mad-hatter cakes.

Wedding Cakes

Tasty Little Cakes can offer something individual and unique for your wedding. We pride ourselves on providing a personal and friendly service just for you. After an initial consultation, TLC can provide tasting samples for you to consider so that the right look and flavours are chosen to complement your special day. We can also provide a delivery and setup service at your wedding venue.

Consultations: In most cases designs and flavours are discussed briefly during initial phone contact. The next step is to organise a taster box and a face-to-face consultation which can be arranged at your house at a mutually convenient time. This should be organised as soon as possible as there are limited spaces due to existing workload.

Samples/Taster Boxes: Once designs and flavours have been discussed TLC can provide you will a sample box of 4 regular sized cupcakes of two flavours reflecting your chosen design. There is a small charge of £15.00 for this service which will be deducted from your balance should you book your wedding cake or cupcakes with TLC (refunded only on a minimum order of £200).

Cake Design: Examples and cake styles are discussed during the initial phone conversation or consultation, after which a hand drawn picture or an example of an existing cake is used to confirm the design details. Feel free to supply any cake designs of your own finding along with colour swatches. TLC will use these for inspiration and create something in our own style.

Fee for design change: If there is a change in design or colour scheme after taster samples have been made TLC reserve the right to make a charge of £20.00 to cover any costs already incurred for the previous design, e.g. cake accessories. There may also be a further charge if additional samples are requested in the new design. No design changes are allowed within one month of the wedding date.

Stand Hire: We currently only offer stacked wedding cakes supplied on a matching cake board. If you'd like a tiered wedding cake please do get in touch and we can obtain a quote for your desired cake stand.

Setup & Delivery: To ease some of the organisation on the day TLC offer a wedding cake delivery and setup service. There is a minimum setup fee of £20.00 at any location plus a delivery charge which varies depending on the venue location and expected journey time. TLC will arrive at the agreed time and location and setup the cake. TLC will not leave until the display has been approved by the bride or designated family member/caterer. Contact us for a personal quote. This service is offered on a first come first booked basis.

Deposits & Final Balance Payments: A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking to reserve your date. Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. Final balance payments must be received by TLC before the date outlined in the invoice (typically 3 weeks before the wedding date). TLC will send out a reminder by email 3 days before the payment due date, but we advise you set your own reminder.

Cakes that are collected: TLC advises that any cake collected from TLC should be stored in the box provided in a cool location, but not the fridge, as this could melt the fondant and decorations. Even though every precaution is taken by doweling stacked cakes, TLC advises that you transport the cakes VERY slowly as any bends or bumps in the road could cause the cake to shift or crack. Once the cake leaves TLC we are no longer responsible for the cake and no claims can be made against damage to the cake during your own transport or setup.

Celebration Cakes

Corporate Cakes

For that intimate business meeting or to celebrate a special company achievement, contact Tasty Little Cakes to ensure a great impression with a personal touch.

We require one months notice for corporate cake orders.

Giant Cupcake Cakes

Our Giant Cupcake is a cake in itself, serving approx 15-18 people. All Giant Cupcakes are beautifully finished with a personalised fondant iced board, the colour and design matching your celebration theme.

Have one on it's own or at the top of your cupcake tower, displayed beautifully on one of our perspex cupcake stands.

Portions & Starting Prices

Serving Portions Chart
Traditionally sponge cakes are cut into 2" x 1" portions and English fruit cake is cut into 1" x 1" portions. Dessert portions can be even larger. Use this chart as a rough guide to portion sizes and if you're unsure of what you need please contact us to discuss your options. Please note that final portion numbers derived from the cakes provided by TLC are dependent on the caterers cutting them correctly. We always advise to err on the side of caution and order slightly more than needed.

Topsy Turvy Cakes

Topsy Turvy cakes require 3 inches between tiers and portion amounts are less than that for round cakes due to the amount of cake removed during carving. A two tier topsy-turvy cake starts from £200.00. Please contact us for a quote.
