Tasty Little Cakes can offer something individual and unique for your wedding. We pride ourselves on providing a personal and friendly service just for you. After an initial consultation, TLC can provide design and tasting samples for you to consider so that the right look and flavours are chosen to complement your special day. We can also provide a delivery and setup service at your wedding venue. See our bridal terms and conditions below.

Consultations: In most cases designs and flavours are discussed briefly during initial phone contact. The next step is to organise a taster box and a face-to-face consultation which can be arranged at your house at a mutually convenient time. This should be organised as soon as possible as there are limited spaces due to existing workload.
Samples/Taster Boxes: Once designs and flavours have been discussed TLC can provide you will a sample box of 4 regular sized cupcakes or 9 mini cupcakes, of two flavours and up to 4 designs related to your colour scheme and theme. There is a small charge of £10.00 for this service which will be deducted from your balance should you book your wedding cake and cupcakes with TLC.
Cutting Cake: Many brides choose to have a top tier cutting cake. This is thoughtfully designed to complement the cupcake theme. Examples and styles are discussed during the initial consultation, after which a hand drawn picture or an example of an existing cake is used to confirm the design details. Feel free to supply any cake designs of your own finding along with colour swatches. TLC will use these for inspiration and create something in our own style.
Fee for design change: As some brides book well in advance of their wedding day or if there is a change in design or colour scheme TLC reserve the right to make a charge of £20.00 to cover any costs already incurred for the previous design, e.g. cake accessories. There may also be a further charge for additional samples in the new design. No design changes are allowed within 3 weeks of the wedding date.
Stand Hire: We do offer a perspex cupcake stand hire and stock them in both round and square designs. Please refer to our stand hire terms and conditions.
Setup & Delivery: To ease some of the organisation on the day TLC offer a wedding cake delivery and setup service. There is a minimum setup fee of £20.00 at any location plus a delivery charge which varies depending on the venue location and expected journey time. TLC will arrive at the agreed time and location and setup the cake. TLC will not leave until the display has been approved by the bride or designated family member/caterer. Contact us for a personal quote. This service is offered on a first come first booked basis.
Deposits & Final Balance Payments: Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. Final balance payments must be received by TLC before the date outlined in the invoice (typically 3 weeks before the wedding date). TLC will send out a reminder by email 3 days before the payment due date, but we advise you set your own reminder.
Cakes that are collected: TLC advises that any cakes collected from TLC should be stored in the boxes provided in a cool location out of the sun, but not the fridge, as this could melt the fondant and decorations. Even though every precaution is taken to secure the cakes as much as possible, TLC advises that you transport the cakes VERY slowly as any bends or bumps in the road could cause the cake to shift or crack. Once the cakes leave TLC, collected by the client or courier, we are no longer responsible for them.
